Arriva’s Service 281, the town centre bus link, provides a frequent service between
the main shopping centres, the rail station and the historic parts of Tunbridge Wells.

Our fleet of state-of-the-art-easy-access buses, purchased to bring new levels of comfort to the service, and in their distinctive livery, have the latest engine technology to minimise emissions and to help make Tunbridge Wells a cleaner and greener place.

The town centre bus link runs every 12 minutes for the main part of the day on
Mondays to Saturdays, so there’s not long to wait if you miss one!

The town centre bus link will save you having to walk up the steep hills and with a Shopper-hopper ticket you can travel on as many Arriva buses as you like for just £1 all day (except before 9am on Mondays to Fridays) within the Shopper-hopper zone which extends from the town centre right out to Sainsbury’s! Even if you park your car in town, the town centre bus link is ideal for getting around and great value with a Shopper-hopper ticket!
